Our 2024 raffle quilt is Compass Rose by designer Christine Stainbrook and features Handspray fabrics by RJR. The quilt was completed by paper piecing, template work, and applique done by guild members Lois Gerald, Vickie Esters, Siobhan Furgurson, and Linda Biko. It was beautifully quilted by one of our newest guild members, Teresa Koster. Teresa utilized ruler work, free motion, and computer design to add to the beauty of Compass Rose.
Raffle quilt tickets will be available for purchase at Joann Fabrics in Tavares, on the third Saturday of each month. Guild members will be there on May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, and September 21 to sell tickets.
We will also be at the Mount Dora Craft Festival on October 26 and 27 for more viewing and purchasing of tickets.

The winning ticket will be drawn at the LCQG Fabulous Quilt Show at the end of the show’s second day on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Venetian Center in Leesburg. You don’t have to be present to win.
