| About Us |
In 1985, a small group of quilters met to share their love of quilting and knowledge. In 1988, the group officially became the Lake County Quilters’ Guild. Our mission is to foster the art of quilting through educational opportunities, participation in community outreach and forming friendships with others who enjoy the creativity that quilting offers. The Lake County Quilters’ Guild is a Florida 501(c) nonprofit organization. In addition to our internal charitable activities, the Lake County Quilters’ Guild works to donate to over two dozen organizations in Lake County.

We meet every Tuesday at the Lake County Shriners Club, 424 N Duncan Drive, Tavares, FL 32778. We gather between 9:15 and 10am and our meetings start at 10am. Check out our events calendar for more details. Our Fantastic Quilt Show is turning forty this year. Make plans to visit us November 10 and 11th at Venetian Center in Leesburg. In addition to gorgeous quilts, our Boutique, Raffle Quilt and Raffle Baskets are quite popular. More information can be found on our Quilt Show page.
